VISITING
LOS
ANGELES

LA is a car city, so we'd recommend renting one if you're planning to explore beyond your neighborhood. That said, Uber and Lyft are always an option if you'd rather not deal with driving. Just know that traffic is real and it will humble you.

FLYING IN

LAX — LOS ANGELES INTERNATIONAL
The obvious choice. Most flights come through here and you'll have the most options.

BUR — BURBANK AIRPORT

Smaller, easier, and way less of a headache than LAX. If you're coming from certain cities and can swing it, BUR is a dream.

A little context on the day: the larger reception is in Santa Monica, and for those invited to the private ceremony, that takes place earlier in the Hollywood Hills. We'll handle the shuttle between the two, so no need to worry about getting from one to the other. But it's worth keeping in mind when deciding where to base yourself for the week.

We're also planning a few optional get-togethers throughout the week, a chance to see different parts of the city and spend more time with friends and family before the wedding.

Whether you book a hotel or rent a place with friends or family, both are great options. Airbnb is a solid move if you want more space and really settle into the city for the week. If a hotel is more your speed, we're happy to help suggest a few in a certain area.

THE WEATHER
IN OCTOBER

Kindly respond by 8/1/2026

Good news: LA in October is basically perfect. You can expect warm sunny days in the low 70s and cool evenings, so bring a light layer for after the sun goes down. It rarely rains this time of year, so leave the umbrella at home.
